Senior Advocate Vikas Singh Re-elected as SCBA President for 2025–26 Term

On May 20, 2025, Senior Advocate Vikas Singh was re-elected as the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) for the 2025–26 term.  This marks his fourth tenure in this role, having previously served in 2017–18, 2021–22, and 2022–23. 

Election Results:

President: Vikas Singh defeated fellow senior advocates Pradeep Rai and Adish Agarwala.

Vice President: Rahul Kaushik

Honorary Secretary: Pragya Baghel

Treasurer: Vikrant Yadav


The elections were conducted following the Supreme Court’s directive on May 6, 2025, which stipulated that the voter list finalized for the 2024 elections be used, with the inclusion of members who became eligible up to February 28, 2025.  Additionally, the Court mandated that the post of Honorary Secretary be reserved exclusively for a woman candidate, and that one-third of the positions in both the Executive Committee and the Senior Executive Members be reserved for women. 

Vikas Singh’s re-election reflects the continued confidence of the legal community in his leadership and vision for the SCBA.
